Their Bullwhip Kelp Hot Sauce is a must try on any trip to Alaska. ‘Bullwhip’ is local name for bull kelp, the base of this zippy sauce. Haines Packing Co supports local food. Haines fishermen bring fresh fish directly back to the cannery, where they also have a small gift store featuring other handmade goods, regional produce and gelato.
